What do I wear to a Pilates session or class?

We recommend to wear comfortable clothes such as work out clothes or yoga apparel, no shoes, socks optional.

How long are Pilates mat classes and Pilates sessions on the equipment?

Each class or private session is 55 minutes in length.

How many people are in each class?

There is a limit of 4 people in each Apparatus & Equipment classes. Mat classes are limited to between 6 & 8. Due to small class sizes our Pilates studio is by reservation.

How often should I do pilates to get the most benefits?

It is recommended that you do pilates 2 to 3 times a week for optimal benefits.

Can I do pilates if I am pregnant?

Consult your doctor before starting any exercise program when you are pregnant. If you are have already been doing pilates it is recommended that you stay at the level you are working at and not try to advance. There are also pre-natal classes available that are specifically designed for the expectant mothers.

Do you have any pilates classes for men?

All of our classes are suitable for men. In fact Pilates was originally developed by Joseph Pilates as a complete set of exercises for men and was used for military training.
